Setting up a cron job (scheduled task)

This tutorial assumed that you have a script called "script" in your home directory and permission is set up correctly.

1. Log in to your H-Sphere account.

2. Move your cursor to "FTP/ User account" (top menu) and click "FTP User".

   

3. Press "Off" button that is next to "Crontab:". (Skip this step, if crontab is enabled.)

   

4. Click the icon with a hammer (next to "On" button").

   

5. Input the information as below:

   • Mail To: your@email-address.com (the result of cron will be sent to this email address)

   • Minute: 0-59 or *

   • Hour: 0-23 or *

   • Day of Month: 1-31 or * Month: 1-12 or *

   • Day of Week: 0-7 or *

   • Command: /hsphere/local/home/ftp-login-name/script

   

6. Click "Submit Query"
