Adding custom DNS records (A, CNAME, MX)

This tutorial will show you how to add a DNS record (A, CNAME or MX).

1. Login to your control panel.

2. Click the domain that you would like to edit. (Skip this skip if you have only 1 domain in your account.)

3. Click "Domains" under "Main".

   

4. Click "edit" icon that is next to "DNS Configuration".
   *If you have more than 1 domain, you need to select the domain first.

   

5. Click "Add DNS XXX record" where XXX is the type of record you want to add.

6. Type the information needed:

   • Name: Hostname (without the domain) i.e. "host.example.com" will be "host"

   • TTL: Time to Live (in second)

   • Data:

     • for A record, it will be an IP

     • for MX record, it will be a number and a hostname

     • for CNAME record, it will be a hostname

7. Press "Submit" button

8. If success, you will see this messgae "DNS XXX record has been added successfully".
