Requesting SSH access to your web server

This tutorial shows you how to request SSH access from your provider. Some providers may not allow shared customers to have SSH access to their web servers.

1. Login to your control panel.

2. Click "FTP Manager" under "FTP".

3. Click the "Off" icon that is next to "Shell Access"

   

4. If the request is submitted successfully, you will see that "Request Status" instead of "Off" icon.

5. Wait your host to review your request. (Depends on providers, additional documents may be required.)

6. After your host reviewed your request, a notification email will be sent to you.
