Creating a Password Protected Directory

This tutorial shows you how to create a password protected directory in WebShell (File Manager).

1. Login to "File Manager" (WebShell).

2. Click "PROTECT" on the bottom menu.

   

3. Click the name of the directory to browse its sub-directories.

   

4. Click the icon that is next to the directory that you want to protect.

   

5. Click "edit>>" to create new user (Skip step 5-7, if you do not want to create a new user).

6. Click "create" if you do not any existing user.

7. Enter your desired username and password, then click "save".
   *If success, you will see the user.

8. Click "next>>".

9. Click "save>>".
